Caso, Adolph: U.S. Army
As a young child in Italy near Naples, Mr. Caso witnessed a lot of warfare-Axis and Allied- during World War II. Later he immigrated to the United States and served with the U.S. Army Signal Corps in Vicenza, Italy.
Mearian, Lucas: U.S. Marines
This interview covers Mr. Mearian's service with the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion of the
1st Marine Division from 1981 to 1990. Trained as a machine gunner, Mr. Mearian
was a Marine Guard aboard the USS American (aircraft carrier) and served on the home front with drug intervention units near the Mexican border.
